1. Introduction
ViralJury is an online-only pre-upload short-form video feedback product. This policy describes the information the website may receive and how it is used.
2. Information we collect
We may receive information you send through a support message, such as your email address and the question or feedback you choose to provide. We may also receive basic technical information needed to secure and operate the website.
3. How we use information
We use information to respond to support requests, operate and improve ViralJury, protect the website from abuse, and understand which product workflows need clarification.
4. Video and product data
If your account has analysis access and you upload a video, ViralJury stores it privately and uses it to produce your review. External providers process submissions under their own terms; their uses may differ from ours. The video, its audio, and a transcript are processed by the ViralJury analyzer, which sends them to the AI model providers listed in section 5 for transcription and analysis. Uploaded videos are not used for marketing, and reports are visible only to you unless you create a share link.
5. Service providers
ViralJury uses Cloudflare to host the website, store uploads and reports, and run the analyzer; Google Firebase for sign-in; Cloudflare Turnstile and Firebase App Check to prevent abuse; Groq for speech transcription; and Google's Gemini API for video and transcript analysis. Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity are used for website measurement as described in section 6. Analysis is available to approved accounts and uses the providers listed above. Google's unpaid Gemini services may use submitted content and responses to improve its products and may involve human review; confidential, personal or sensitive material must not be submitted to that service. Groq may retain content for reliability or abuse investigations unless zero data retention is enabled. We have not verified that setting for this account.
6. Cookies and analytics
ViralJury uses Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity for approved, low-cardinality page and product-funnel measurement. For visitors in the EEA, United Kingdom, and Switzerland, both services remain disabled unless the visitor accepts analytics cookies; the choice can be changed later using Cookie choices. Microsoft Clarity is limited to approved public pages and is not loaded on account, upload, job, report, authentication, billing, or private routes. We do not intentionally send filenames, video content, report identifiers, form text, or direct contact details to analytics. If you arrive from a campaign link, the campaign tags (such as utm_source) and the referring website's domain are kept in your browser and, after you sign in, stored with your account so we can tell which channels bring people who find the product useful. These providers may use cookies or similar browser identifiers to provide measurement. We do not sell personal information.
7. Data retention and choices
The intended retention schedule removes the initial upload after transfer to the analyzer, with a 6-hour expiry target; abandoned uploads are targeted for cleanup after about 30 minutes. Analyzer input copies are targeted for deletion after completion or within 1 day, and intermediate files within 14 days. These timings depend on successful cleanup and configured storage lifecycle rules; failures or a processing pause can delay deletion. Contact support if you need deletion while account cleanup is unavailable. Model providers may keep files they receive for a limited period under their own terms. Reports stay in your account until you delete them or delete your account. Product events are kept for 90 days, security rate-limit records for 2 days, and notification records for 30 days. If you choose to keep a copy on your device when uploading, that copy stays in your browser's storage so the report can play each flagged moment; it is never uploaded again and is removed after 30 days, when you remove it from the report, or when you sign out. Deleting your account removes your uploads, reports, and analyzer jobs. You can also request correction or deletion by contacting support.
8. Security
Reasonable technical and organizational measures are used to protect information, but no online system can be guaranteed perfectly secure.
9. Changes
This policy may be updated as the website and product workflows change. The current version remains available on this page.
